When care is intimate, design must be intentional.
That was the message resonating through the ribbon-cutting of the newly renovated Emory Greenbriar Dialysis Clinic. An event that brought together Emory Healthcare leaders, Health Systems Management, Inc., care providers, and patients to celebrate not only a building, but a new standard for dialysis environments.
Dialysis care is personal and often defined by deep relationships between patients and staff. Our renovation sought to elevate that experience through thoughtful, human-centered solutions: abundant daylight through new storefront windows, heated massage recliners, open plans that reduce stress, and improved emergency access that puts safety first.
We also created respite areas for staff because empowered caregivers deliver better care.
But perhaps the most future-forward feature is the new home dialysis training center. For patients ready to manage their treatment at home, this space supports autonomy while ensuring continued connection and education from the clinical team. It is designed as a bridge to independence.
This renovation is a statement that every healthcare environment, no matter the setting, deserves to reflect the dignity, care, and connection it supports.
We are proud to stand alongside Emory Healthcare and all those reshaping the future of patient care.
