Designing for Patient-Focused Growth

This project includes an addition and renovation to the existing Select Medical Miami Lakes Hospital, providing 26 new patient beds along with a full range of clinical support spaces. The program features bariatric isolation rooms, a critical care unit, medical/surgical patient rooms, support areas, and staff amenities, all designed to enhance both patient care and the caregiver experience.

The team worked closely with the owner and civil engineers to develop a site approach that integrates seamlessly with the existing facility and surrounding neighborhood while meeting stormwater management requirements.
