Campus Integration, Signature Experience

This project involved the design and delivery of a new Starbucks location within the Kennesaw State University Student Union, developed in collaboration with Starbucks to align with brand standards while integrating seamlessly into the campus environment. The design incorporates signature material elements—such as terrazzo flooring, wood veneer ceiling slats, and wall paneling—to evoke the atmosphere of a standalone café experience.

Back-of-house spaces were carefully planned to support efficient operations, with a focus on safety and sanitation, including the integration of a new grease trap system coordinated with the university for underground installation. The project also included coordination of digital menu boards and the design of a secure overhead rolling door, ensuring both functional performance and cohesive architectural detailing.
