Abby Mikulsky

NCIDQ, RID

A Savannah native, Abby relocated to Atlanta to begin a career in interior design, bringing with her an early appreciation for building and construction shaped by a construction-oriented family. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Georgia Southern University in December 2022, where she served as President of the Interior Design Association and worked with Georgia Southern’s Planning and Construction team as an Interior Design Intern. Since joining May Architecture, she has developed a strong appreciation for the complexity and impact of healthcare design. Her work is rooted in precision, clarity, and technical understanding, with a particular focus on interior detailing and communicating design intent. She is skilled at balancing aesthetics with functionality, helping create spaces that are visually compelling, highly functional, and technically sound. She passed the NCIDQ in Spring 2025 and became a registered Interior Designer in the State of Georgia in Fall 2025. In 2025, she was also nominated for Interior Design Magazine’s Atlanta 30 Under 30 class.
